The Role
We are looking for a People Business Partner to act as a crucial link between our business strategy and the employee experience. You will partner with leaders and teams to support their development and build a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented work environment. Your mission is to develop and ensure that our people policies and initiatives are perfectly aligned with our strategic business goals.
This is a key role that will allow you to make a direct impact on our culture, help shape the future of our company, and ensure our people are fully aligned with our core values, our "Pirateness," and our overall goals.
Key Responsibilities
- BOOST GROWTH: Coach and support leaders and teams on topics such as talent management, performance, and professional development.
- IMPROVE PEOPLE EXPERIENCE: Serve as a trusted point of contact for all people-related matters within teams, fostering a positive work environment and contributing to the improvement of key People processes (e.g., onboarding, performance, recognition).
- PREPARE THE FUTURE: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for key roles, ensuring we attract and select top talent aligned with our culture. Proactively identify opportunities to digitalize and automate People processes, leveraging HR tech and AI to enhance efficiency.
- ALIGN PEOPLE, PIRATENESS & WP GOALS: Partner with leaders to align People initiatives with business goals and promote a culture of feedback, well-being, and inclusion. Monitor key metrics related to culture and retention to support data-driven decisions.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Work and Organizational Psychology, Management, Human Resources Management, or a similar field.
- Previous experience in a People Business Partner or similar role, preferably in a dynamic or digital environment.
- Experience in recruitment, with a strong interest in attracting and selecting talent.
- Familiarity with the digitalization of HR processes and a keen interest in HR tech and AI.
- Strong communication skills, active listening, and the ability to positively influence others.
- An analytical and solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on practical outcomes.
- A genuine interest in organizational culture, people development, and innovation in HR.
- Proficiency in Portuguese and a high level of English.
