About the Role


We are looking for a strategic and highly experienced AEO (App Event Optimization) & ASO (App Store Optimization) Mid-Senior / Senior Manager to lead our mobile growth strategy. This critical role demands a deep understanding of mobile marketing performance, the app store ecosystem, and the optimization levers that drive high-quality app installs and in-app revenue.


You will be responsible for defining and executing strategies across the funnel, from maximizing visibility and conversion on the App Stores (ASO) to optimizing paid acquisition campaigns (especially Google UAC/App Campaigns) focused on post-install events (AEO).


The ideal candidate is an analytical expert who can seamlessly blend creative optimization, data analysis, and advanced machine learning strategies to unlock scalable mobile growth.


Key Responsibilities


  • Marketplace Optimization: Lead the continuous optimization of app listings (iOS App Store and Google Play Store) including titles, subtitles, keywords, short and long descriptions, visual assets (screenshots, videos), and metadata.

  • Keyword Research: Conduct extensive keyword research, competitive analysis, and localization strategies to maximize organic search visibility and rank higher for high-intent terms.

  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Run structured A/B testing programs (e.g., using Google Play Experiments and third-party tools) on store listing elements to maximize the tap-to-install and install-to-purchase conversion rates.

  • Campaign Strategy: Define the strategy for paid app campaigns, primarily focusing on Google App Campaigns (UAC) and other platforms (e.g., Meta/TikTok), ensuring alignment with high-value business objectives (e.g., purchase, subscription, specific engagement events).

  • AEO Mastery: Deeply understand and manage the setup of App Event Optimization (AEO) and Value-Based Bidding (VBB) within Google App Campaigns to drive maximum return on ad spend (ROAS) and quality user acquisition.

  • Measurement & Attribution: Collaborate with Data and Engineering teams to ensure precise mobile measurement and attribution (MMP integration, SKAN, Privacy Sandbox readiness) to accurately track the funnel from impression to in-app event.

  • Performance Analysis: Develop comprehensive reporting frameworks for both ASO and paid app campaigns, utilizing analytics platforms (Google Analytics, MMPs) to monitor performance, diagnose issues, and forecast results.

  • Creative Strategy: Define data-driven creative testing roadmaps for both store listings and paid channels, identifying top-performing visual and video assets.

  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor the mobile landscape, competitor strategies, and platform updates (e.g., iOS/Android policy changes) to anticipate impacts and adapt optimization tactics.



What we are looking for


Technical & Platform Skills


  • Minimum 4 years of experience in mobile marketing, with significant time dedicated to both App Store Optimization (ASO) and performance-based App Campaign management.

  • Expertise in Google App Campaigns (UAC): Proven track record managing large-scale UAC campaigns focused on AEO (App Event Optimization) and VBB (Value-Based Bidding) to achieve specific ROAS targets.

  • Deep ASO Knowledge: Mastery of ASO principles, keyword tools (e.g., Sensor Tower, AppTweak, MobileAction), and extensive experience running A/B tests on Google Play Experiments.

  • Data Fluency: Proficiency in analyzing mobile attribution data from MMPs (e.g., Adjust, Branch, AppsFlyer) and deriving actionable insights.

  • Familiarity with Mobile Measurement: Understanding of the technical aspects of mobile tracking, including event integration, post-install data streams, and limitations imposed by platform privacy changes (e.g., iOS App Tracking Transparency).

Nice to Have


  • Experience with Meta (Facebook/Instagram) App Campaigns and/or TikTok App Campaigns.

  • Experience managing ASO for apps in multiple languages/locales.

  • Understanding of basic SQL or advanced data manipulation in Google Sheets/Excel for custom reporting.

  • Experience working in a performance marketing or media agency environment.
